EcoTech Living Sanctuary test unit update

In May we shared about a safer housing prototype being built by ecoTECH design studio for the chemically sensitive community that was scheduled to be ready for testing in Quakertown, Pennsylvania earlier this month. Due to typical construction delays for a project of this sort, the schedule has been slightly revised. Douglas Busch, founder and CEO of ecoTECH, has just released this updated schedule along with some architectural renderings of both the interior and exterior of the test unit:

Hello all, good news…permits are issued and the site work has begun. Our group flies into PA on the 14th of August and we start manufacturing the unit on the 15th. We hope to be done and transporting the unit to Quakertown on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (Aug. 23, 24, or 25th). We would be happy to show you this exciting “Sanctuary” Thursday and Friday the 25th and 26th to go over all the new systems which have been added. That would be super.

Thanking all of you for your support and help on this project and look forward to seeing you all. All the best, doug”

    Hello-

Do you have the dimensions of this unit? How large can they be built?
    What is the price?

Can these units be shipped anywhere in the country, or is Quakertown, Pa the area where these units will be available for purchase?

    Thank you.

For all those posting questions about the units under this article, please contact the architects directly. Re|shelter is not involved in this project; we are merely sharing updates about it. All the information we have has been shared in the articles already published on our site. Here is the architects’ website: http://ecotechdesignstudio.com/.
